Cases of Bird Flu virus are being detected in most parts of the world, from China to Japan and from Europe to South America. The deadly virus spread by migrating wild birds and has recently been found in the birds in Russia, Turkey and Romania, causing to start efforts all over the globe to contain its spread.

I am fearful of the possibility if there is a mechanism in place to detect such a virus in our country.

I would like to request the authorities in the Ministry of Health or in Ministry of Livestock whichever is responsible for the kind of task to let the people know about the matter and whether or not, any research is being undertaken.
